With a fully managed solution, your only responsibility is to appoint a payroll contact who will liaise directly and be the point of contact for the payroll outsourcer.
This person is responsible for providing the payroll information needed at the agreed timescales and approving the processed payroll. Any staff queries can be handled by either the payroll provider or school. Check with your provider that they will provide a dedicated person that staff can contact with any queries, although they will not be able to answer queries on areas such as the amount of overtime someone was expecting, for example.
