Payroll implementation - our 5 step process

Switching your school to Dataplan Education is easy. We have a simple 5 step process to ensure that everything runs like clockwork.

Step 1)

Our first step with any new payroll client is to appoint a project manager. It is their role to find out about your school and your current payroll systems. They will also discuss what management information you would need, plus any concerns you may have.

Step 2)

Once we have discussed your needs we agree an action plan with you and make a start. Your project manager will hand hold you through all of the setting up of the payroll including extracting the employee information we need.

When we are ready to process your first payroll run the project manager would process your payroll early to ensure that we all have plenty of time to check the payroll in detail.

We can even be at your school on the first payday to handle any employee queries if needed.

Step 3)

A debrief follows where we can identify and make any changes needed to the process. This process is repeated until you are comfortable that the payroll is running exactly how you want it to.

Step 4)

At this point you will be passed to our payroll processing team where you will be given your payroll buddies. We operate a buddy system so that you will always have two payroll contacts that will look after you or a team, making sure that we always have people on hand with up to date knowledge about you and your school’s payroll.
