What works best for your school?

Having worked with many schools over the years, we know that each school has very specific HR needs depending on their internal resource and expertise, relationships with existing suppliers and HR systems in use. Because of this, we have developed a range of HR options from a core contracts administration service to full HR support and specialist consultancy services.

HR Audit

Knowing you have HR support when you need it is one thing, but we believe that prevention is the best approach and as such we look to make sure all policies, procedures and systems are fit for purpose so that you can react quickly and with confidence when needed.

If you take our HR Advice Helpline option you will receive a desktop HR Health Check as part of the package and if you take our HR Consultancy and Advice option, we will carry out a full HR Audit. It is from this audit that we identify any urgent requirements, but also provide a framework for the work that needs to be done throughout the year.

HR Options

OPTION 1 – Full HR Service

This is the most comprehensive service providing you with tailored support and advice. The full HR audit provides the framework for an ongoing HR plan of work. 

The service includes:-

  • HR audit - on site, in-depth audit to evaluate your position and tailor and prioritise your HR work plan
  • HR updates - advice and guidance on changes to employment legislation with a specific focus on education
  • Advice on terms of conditions of employment - for both teaching and support staff
  • Casework - support with employee related matters e.g. disciplinary, capability, grievance, sickness absence including on-site meetings where appropriate
  • Policies and procedures - ensuring your policies, procedures and processes are fit for purpose
  • Helpline - unlimited access to telephone and e-mail support
  • Contracts administration - service includes:
    • Administration of employment contracts & contract variations
    • Administration of starter, leaver letters and other specific letters if required.

 

OPTION 2 - HR Advice Helpline & Contracts Administration

This is a remote support solution with a helpline providing support for HR issues. The desktop health check helps your prioritise your HR plan of work.

The service includes:

  • Desktop health check - a remote HR audit of your policies and procedures
  • Unlimited telephone and e-mail support for HR matters including, casework, absence management, terms and conditions of employment
  • Contracts administration - service includes:
    • Administration of employment contracts & contract variations
    • Administration of starter, leaver letters and other specific letters if required.

On-site support if required is chargeable at an agreed day rate if required.

 

OPTION 3 - HR Contracts Administration

This is our basic HR administration service designed to support schools and Academies with basic contract administration.

The service includes:

  • Administration of employment contracts & contract variations
  • Administration of starter, leaver letters and other specific letters if required.

On-site support if required is chargeable at an agreed day rate if required.

 

OPTION 4 – Bespoke Consultancy services

Although our main options cover the most requested HR services, we know that there are always ad-hoc requirements. Rather than bundle these into our standard packages (and charge you for services you may never need), we provide a range of specialist HR services for an additional charge when needed as below:

  • One to one coaching
  • Leadership recruitment
  • Mediation
  • Investigation co-ordination & production of reports
  • Academy conversion support.
